HEPH INTRODUCTION
Founded by Steve and Sheila Conner, HEPH is a proven innovative STEM/STEAM educational platform designed to equip disengaged learners with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the future.
The program focuses on developing curiosity, the practice of life-long learning and a love of citizenship.
HEPH programs provide access to a world–class education through project–based learning, technology, AI infused personalized learning, and the development of critical thinking skills. An independent study conducted by School District 97 showed that students who received HEPH intervention had significantly higher academic achievement, improved behavior, and greater satisfaction with school.
95% of HEPH’s learners were engaged and 75% advanced in math and reading.

There's genius around every corner.
Steve and Sheila have been discovering hidden talents and helping them develop for over 30 years. They have scouted and mentored over 20,000 learners of all ages, from the 12-year-old Bert, who drew chalk art on a Queens sidewalk, to Jalen, a dancer they found on Instagram. The HEPH pedagogy takes cues from Montessori, where learners thrive in prepared learner-centered environments. Once learners gain a degree of self-agency, the HEPH team introduces team adventures filled with choice. In the end, each student not only learns about their value but also learns to value each other. Steve restructured the acronym S.T.E.A.M. and coined the term T.E.A.M.S.

Sheila, the Dream maker
With over thirty years of experience in marketing, executive production, and entrepreneurship, Sheila has dedicated her career to making dreams a reality. She is the driving force behind the success of the HEPH internal teams, overseeing operations and creating the highly-regarded Professional Development for DREAM T.E.A.M.S. programs.

Father and daughter
Every summer, Sheila and her dad, Henry, get together in Sheila’s lab to build and test STEM kits for the curriculums. Sheila has a great feel for engineering and created the perfect basement lab. Henry is a retired Air Force Colonel and engineer. The work they do together serves as a cornerstone for DREAM T.E.A.M.S. curriculums. And on a more personal note gives the two amazing father, daughter time through shared interest and talent.
Steve spreads the word about DREAM T.E.A.M.S.
Steve is a visionary strategist, technologist and inventor, with mentors Irving Penn, Brunswick Brandon, and Gordon Parks having inspired him to go beyond the limits of technology to turn his visions into reality. He now imparts his knowledge to learners of all ages, delving into topics such as technology, branding, video game making, analytics, sociology, and industrial design. Steve has developed a unique HEPH and DREAM T.E.A.M.S. pedagogy to spread the value of personal power, curiosity and ingenuity to as many people as possible.
